At the end of the game, you play through the entirety of Through the Fire and the Flames, as I’m sure a lot of you are aware. That out of the way, this game is what introduced me to Dragonforce. I got Guitar Hero III for the Wii when I was around 10 years old. If you’ve been following my blogs for some time, you already know the story, but for the rest of you, it all started with a little old game called Guitar Hero III… I don’t think my story for discovering Dragonforce is very different than a lot of you out there. I think it’s important to understand my background with the group so the reader (you) can understand where I’m coming from in a bit more detail when I talk about them. They are known for playing at extremely high speeds, Herman Li and Sam Totman’s blazing fast guitars, fantasy-themed lyrics, and their inclusion in Guitar Hero III, which exposed their over-the-top style to the mainstream.īefore talking about the albums, I’m going to talk about my history with the band.
